The Cisco 1720 modular access router provides complete flexibility to select the WAN services that suit customers' current and future access requirements. Driven by a powerful RISC architecture and Cisco IOS software, the Cisco 1720 has the features and performance to support secure data access and deployment of new WAN services, including Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and broadband services, now or in the future. The Cisco 1720 also offers optional integrated firewall, DSU/CSU, NT-1 for ISDN, VPN tunnel server, and other network services functions that simplify deployment and management tasks.
